Our decision to expand into CBD was intuitive. A sense of wellness delivered from pure, organic hemp oil seemed like a natural extension of our mission: to bring healthful, high-quality, and affordable goods to market.

We’re glad to say that we are right on time. Many of our members have been yearning for a Public Goods CBD oil since the 2018 Farm Bill removed hemp from the list of controlled substances.

And given the stressors of 2020, we quickly realized we needed to answer those calls fast. Increasing accessibility to reliable, lab-tested CBD products, free of impurities, is our promise. Amidst social unrest, a viral pandemic, an opioid epidemic, and more, the importance of more non-impairing, non-habit forming ways to relax the mind and body are evident.

We knew our first step was to find farmers who practice sustainable farming. Today, our CBD farmers use regenerative farming techniques. For the uninitiated, these farming practices focus on reversing climate trends through capturing carbon in soil and increasing yields.

With a focus on optimal quality, our manufacturing partners gently extract the beneficial cannabinoids via a whole-plant infusion process. Our theory is that – just as eating whole foods is more beneficial for the body – consuming whole-hemp CBD products proves more effective and increases bioavailability. Thanks to the whole-plant extraction process, our CBD is rich with amino acids, polyphenols, terpenes, and antioxidants, giving it an emerald green hue.

What’s in Public Goods’ CBD Products (and What’s Not)

You can trust that Public Goods includes only organically grown CBD hemp extract carried in organic MCT oil (medium-chain triglycerides naturally found in coconut oil). Free from pesticides, gluten, or GMOs, this Colorado-raised CBD oil is vegan-friendly.

Our new line of CBD wellness products includes CBD oil, softgels, and salves. Choose from two flavors of our CBD oil: original and peppermint. A calming natural supplement, the original oil tastes earthy with citrus notes. The addition of organic peppermint essence adds a refreshing burst of mint while masking any hemp scent.
